A Poetic accounting of a short,
but passionate love
WHAT WAS IS NOT
What was is not,
I remember some but little,
Special surely, I know,
Yet only remains a tittle,
What was is not,
can’t define the shapeless shadow,
It’s insane, to question what is what,
How was I bound in this knot,
What was is not,
The word alone is so abstract,
What is love, where comes and goes love,
To confound, sent from heaven above?
What was is not,
Loves a label, does it exist at all,
If real, how does a label fall,
Is the rainbow real or not,
What was is not,
What, when, why, did it die,
If it was not then why, why do I cry,
One feels the loss and coldness is why,
What was is not,
I in a dream, I can’t run,
A nightmare stuck or trap I’m in,
Where are you sun, must see the sun,
What was is not,
Will another one ignite my soul,
Yes, it is too late, that time has gone,
Fading now, I can just recall that song,
What was is not,
Sex was very nice, yes it was a part,
Not all, but I can feel loss, it’s gone, I’m sure,
There is more, another one, is not a cure,
What was is not,
The now illusory passion has fell,
It can’t be found, as if fallen in the well,
I feel not, surely none remains,
What was is not,
Yes, I’m a selfish fool,
Not willing to stay, follow the rule,
Others have, they greet each day,
What was is not,
But I want, must have, what was,
I do remember, Yes, I can’t settle, not me,
Free to love, and to live, It must be,
What was is not,
No more, I empty, alone, a lonely one,
I will make time stop, and then begin,
From all shadows of past, I run,
What was is not,
Yes, I am stubborn, but Today I smile,
In faith, knowing what was can be,
I feel, I live, yes, I will see.

TWO LOVERS DIVERGE
Inseparable in university days,
Loving botany in myriad of ways,
We dreamed as one each night,
Entranced, same stars in sight,
Our fantasy the Appalachian trail,
Science was the official tale,
Yet, what circled our mind,
delights in each other, sure to find,
A journey of days we laughed, prepared,
No fear, trepidation, nothing scared,
As the beginning of the Tarot fool,
All would be as a precious jewel,
Our discoveries on the trail we shared,
Excited, happy, so focused, what we bared,
Nights we chatted stumbling over the other,
Love softly spoke, blinded, going further,
Many days, tiring treks, weather, and hail,
Our energy sometimes did fail,
Then a wave of love, again did rise,
beauty shimmered in those eyes,
One day, I know not when,
Our interest did not blend,
Trees I felt, loved, was fauna warmed her delight,
Different sparks, thus we studied at night,
Less and less common arose a test,
Whether climbing or at rest,
Of mundane we talked, of weather, of camp,
Words fell down, flickered, it was an empty lamp,
Her spite and anger, would flair,
Emotions I couldn’t settle nor prepare,
Many days, we trekked, two by two, alone,
I, she I think, looked past, we saw home,
Confused, begin again?
Impediments others never passed, we, I, her, overcame,
Yet, did sands flow down, now time depart,
I sighed, in pain, alone, to start,
As they say; I counted the cost,
Joy, love, wonder, all to be forgotten, lost,
I traveled long, was late, never love again?
But, I can live in these clouds, shadows, rain,
I don’t know. I wait. I wait.

Love and Lust
Thoreau so wise,
“the mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation.”
Materialism isn’t desperation,
It’s football, a game,
not desperation for the sane,
And never goes quiet,LOVE AND LUST
Yet; Love and Lust,
a battle, a challenge,
eye and heart sync,
Victory! Victory!
a young man’s prize,
This too shall pass,
Always,
Then, Love and Lust,
Held tightly within,
Delusions of course I say,
Desperation of desire burns,
seething quietly, slowly, desperately,
Just quit I say,
Wonderful, Love and Lust
Then she smiles,
Elation, yes this is love,
Rainbows fade too quickly,
Peaks and Valleys,
Quit, nay, I can’t,
Just maybe, Love and Lust,
Hope quickly return,
And one day she’s gone,
Quiet desperation it is!
Yes, it is quiet desperation.
then another will come,

Valentine’s Day: Twin Flames and Soul Mates
JOINING OF SOULMATES
TAKE MY SOUL
The Material one Wonders, doubts, maybe?
The Soul is complete, two into one,
Only one the divide collapses
Material succumbs to pressure as diamonds
Obstacles fade, diminishing, unseen ever,
Shadows of material world,
Sew doubt, fear, feet frozen in place,
Yet expanding universe, thrust us together,
Soul completion, syntropy prevails,
Material is fleeting flesh, ghost, decaying, rusting,
Spiritual souls unite, ignite, as comets flash by,
Grasp the joy tightly, savior, laugh, love evermore,
Now ours are singularity,
O’ great wonders I behold
A soul split, miracle of miracles
Explosive quasars pale to the love reborn,
Completeness, destiny, eternity wins,
A soul split, now united, miracle of miracles
Together, together at last, evermore,
lover, our eyes invade and envelope each other,
I Love you~

Expanding omnipotent universe, thrusting us together,
Soul completion achieved, syntropy prevails,

Fake Love
Falling in Love with a Picture
Illusion morphs in a dream,
The vision overtaking my eyes,
A silver forming stream,
Softly air unaware releasing sighs,
Her vision soaking me in,
Silver streams drift forward to each,
Both now looking within,
Clarity mocks beyond reach,
Our vision is a pools image,
Reversing sight through other,
Dimensions of silver light engage,
Joining together as one another,
Complete, clarity, true, true love,
Words, beyond words, a molecular rhythm,
A divine intervention I reach above,
Wait, no, reality falls, killer, vicious crime,
My vision was but a fools illusion,
What mad trickery captured my soul,
She is not her, but sudden confusion,
One fell, another arose, where but a satanic hole,
Weeping tears flood her eyes,
She, Only because my love surpassed my hold,,
I see love in-spite, even myself, while covered in lies,
But my divine Love, heart cry’s, what is being told,
Clearly my beloved, I am the truth not illusion,
I see truth, yet my passion was for another,
Not so, the picture as Love, was your desperate conclusion,
She cried our love remains divine, one for other.

Elizabeth Ann Miller ~ The End of love
Her weeping tears flow over her eyes,
Only because my love surpassed my hold,
I felt passionate love myself, but you are mere lies,
DIVINE LOVE!,, You betrayed our hearts, fiendish lies you told,,
My beloved, see flesh and blood, truth not illusions,
I do know the truth, and all my passion cries for her, another,
She a picture, not Love, or be loved, YOU! created this conclusion,
She cried our love IS divine, we DO complete the other.
I love her more
